About me...

Hello I’m Sarah Hurren, founder and creator of Sticky Prints. I live in Filby, Norfolk with my husband Dan, two dogs (a rescue Romanian Shepherd called Chewie and our pug Peggy) and not forgetting our three cats, Sidney, Naomi and Gordon.

I am Mummy to a little princess called Rose and a beautiful boy called Teddy.

I try, as we all do, to capture as many memories of Rose and Teddy as possible by taking photographs, keeping first shoes and storing all their little doodles (or scribbles!) in a cupboard rarely to be seen again. I wanted to have a reminder of my little ones growing up that I could keep with me and proudly display, which is where my inspiration for making silver fingerprint jewellery and hand and foot impressions all started.

I love the feel of my fingerprint charms and the texture of the prints where their little fingers have been. When I see the clay imprint of their hands and tiny feet taken at just 9 days old, it takes me back to that very day and reminds me just how quickly time passes.

I individually handcraft all of the keepsakes within the Sticky Prints collection.  We keep it in the family with my mum Sandi as my assistant who joins me at events and is invaluable in the workshop. She is also the photographer responsible for the images you see on the site!

I’m committed to customer satisfaction and love meeting new families and their children. I also love meeting your furry friends and capturing their paws. Any challenge is greatly accepted!

I hold the Silver Art Clay Diploma in level 1 and level 2 and a City & Guilds in Jewellery Maker. I have been honoured to train alongside acclaimed Lifecaster CJ Munn and I credit her for my life casting work. l am a member of the Guild of Keepsake Artisans and the Association of Lifecasters International (ALI).

Creating beautiful keepsakes has become my passion. I love being able to capture a special memory in time, resulting in a unique and bespoke piece of jewellery or keepsake to cherish forever.

I hope you get as much enjoyment out of wearing or displaying them as I do creating them.
